After a strong winter (the dogs liked it!!!!!) spring and summer are coming up.
The dogs are doing fine. Now we can prepare our vacation. Of course, Rainy is coming with
us ; the others will stay at home with Reglindis. In June, we are going back to Italy and
in August we will go to Germany. We hope it will not be to hot. In September Reglindis is
going teo the UK to study. So we must be at home at that moment.
June - July 2009
Our daughter will be back in the middle of July. We can make preparations for our trip
to Germany and Italy in August and September. Of course, Rainy will go with us!
May 2009
The dogs are doing well. Rainy must take care of his weight! I walk with him every day
for at least 2 hours.
December - April 2009
We spend winter at home with our 4 dogs while our daughter was at the
"Universität Leipzig" in Germany. She will be back in summer. So we can travel
again.
At the anual visit to our vet, Alarik seemed to have a little tumour on his eyelid that
must be removed. To evitate late troubles of his prostate, the vet found it better to do
the castration at the same moment he removed the tumour.
He did the operation the 17th of April. The folowing week, we must seperate Alarik from
the others. We were happy, the week was over! Everything is OK now and Alarik is just fine
and healthty!.
October - November 2008
Rainy needed an operation. In August, he became very ill. He got a blood
infection. He was put on severe medication. Now the vet thought it was better for him to
have that operation. So Rainy cannot do "expo's" anymore. He has a beautiful
prize-list anyway. So we are not sad. We will take Rainy always with us on vacation. So he
will enjoy it to be with us and he would not regret the "expo's".
September 2008
Rainy went to the "Ausstellung Leipzig". He won the CAC "Best
Veteran" and was selected for the BOB. He was just wonderfull, the Danish judge
said!!! Rainy closed 2008 very well! We are proud of him.
Our daugther just left Brussels for Leipzig. She is going to study for a year at the
"Universität Leipzig". Now we are forced to stay at home with the dogs till she
will be back and can do the dogsitting again while we are travelling!
August 2008
Rainy became very ill. He had a blood infection. After his recovery, we are going to
spend some days in Germany for vacation.
July 2008
We stay at home this month. The dogs are happy to be together.
June 2008
Rainy passed nearly 3 weeks in Italy. We travelled from the north to the south and
back. We saw Calabria, Tuscany, Puglia, Basilicata, Lombardia. Waw! We had a wonderfull
time. Everybody admired Rainy. Especialy in Florenz, all the people were fond of him.
Finaly, he got nervous of all that attention. Reglindis took good care of Alarik, Aguirre
and Odin.
When we got back, we went to the Brussels Expo. Rainy was classified 2nd in the veteran
class. Yorki won the reward of "Best Veteran"!
May 2008
We visited France with Rainy: Amiens, Bayeux, Beauvais and Rouen! Rainy was very
interested. The others remained at home with Reglindis.
April 2008
Afther a stop in Peine (Hannover), we arrived he 5th of April in Berlin in the Avus
Motel situated very close to the "Messegelände". In the afternoon, we took a
walk. In the evening, I washed Rainy's paws and brushed him. Next morning, we went
to the Expo in the "Messegelände". There were 22 Huskies. Rainy was inscribed
in the group of the veterans. The judge was a Biella-Russian woman. She was very kind and
she adored Rainy immediately! Rainy became 1 of his group and then Best Veteran! He
was also selected as Best Husky! In the honour ring, he was chosen with the 6 Best
Veterans of a group of 23 dogs of all breeds. He (and I!) was very proud! He needs 3
nominations of "Best Veteran" to receive the title of "Deutscher Veteran
Champion". In Berlin, he got already his first nomination. We spended another day in
Berlin to visit the city. I adore this city! Next day, we left for Magdeburg and
Halberstadt. We had a very good time. I bought pic-ears at the expo for Alarik, Aguirre
and Diny. Back home, they jumped on me to receive their ears!
De renovation continues. Everything will be finished the first of May! We will see.
Then, we are leaving for a mini-trip in France. Of course, we take Rainy with us.
Reglindis wil take care of the others.
Januari - February- March 2008
We decided to do a renovation of the house: new kitchen, new floors, new dressings, new
doors. A lot of work! It must be finished the 1 of April because we inscribed Rainy for
the Expo in Berlin and we had to leave the 4th of April. Unfortunatly, the works were not
finished but we left anyway. Reglindis stayed with Alarik, Aguirre and Diny at home.
Oktober - November - December 2007.
We went to see a dermatologist for Diny. He did not absorbe zinc and scratched himself
all the time. So he got infected. The vet gave him a good medication. Afther 2 weeks he
was doing fine.
September 2007
Rainy spend his holidays with us in Italy - Puglia. He loved it. Meanwhile, Alarik,
Aguirre and Diny spend some time with Odile (Rainy's breeder) in Onvillers in France. They
loved it also. Alarik was facinated by the birds flying all around the house. Diny got an
infection in his ears and suffered a lot. Odile called her vet! Poor Diny (and poor Odile
who had a lot of toubles with him!)! Rainy enjoyed his travel. He spend several
nights with us in the most beautiful hotels. Then we arrived in Selva di Fasano. We rented
a trulo (a little house very typical in the region of Alberobello)for a few weeks. Rainy
and we deserved some rest. Afther more then 3 weeks we came back and picked up our other
dogs in France. Everyone was happy to see each other. Reglindis had looked afther the
house while we were on vacation. She did it perfect.

Rainy won the RCACIB and RCAC (mit Anwart) in Ludwigshafen! Congratulations Rainy!

Rainar won in Cloppenburg the CAC and BOB. A big thank to Shirley Court who
helped me and who present Rainy in the ring!. She did a very good job and Rainy loves her
very much!
17th of June2007
Rainar won in Amere the CAC and became also the title of "Nederlands
Kampioen"
Rainy was also present on the "Internationalen Rassehundeausstellung CACIB
Erfurt". He became the "Reserve-Anwartschaft VDH" and was 2nd in the
Champion Class. It was a fine Show and everything was well organised. Rainy enjoyed it!
This weekend, he is going to the Dogshow in Goes (The Netherlands - Zeeland). We
will wait and see......
18th of February 2007
Rainar is going to Berlin next month (24.03.2007) for the Berliner DOG SHOW
"Berliner Sieger 2007". The three others will stay at home with
Reglindis. It will be fine too.
September 2006: Rainy's Holidays
Rainy spend his holidays in Italy. He did a big trip all around the east and the
west coast. He was in Barletta, Matera, Rome, Firenze...He was very quiet in the
hotels and everybody admired him. He is a well educated dog. We are very proud
of him. The three others had a nice vacation too; they spend some time in France with
Rainar's breeder. Each dog was happy to be back home and to see each other again.
17th of June 2006
Rainar won the CAC in DRESDEN (D) . He was BOB and was 2nd of group 5. 1
CAC or CACIB more and he will receive the title of "Deutscher Champion
VDH".
18th of March 2006
Rainar won the CACIB in Goes (NL). He has to win only 1 more CAC or CACIB in the
Netherlands and than he will be "Nederlands Kampioen"
2nd of Januari 2006
2005 was a fine year. Aguirre became a Belgian champion and Rainy became an
international champion of beauty (FCI). Rainy obtained also a CACA in Austria -
Tulln. Aguirre became a proud grandfather of 6 beautiful pups (4 males and 2
females). All the pups are sold in 3 differend countries, Germany, Austria and
Switzerland.
1th of October 2005
We went to Austria with Aguirre and Rainar. We were at the expo in Tulln where we met
Alex and Matina Sturm and where Aguirre was able to see his son, Unique Snowdog of Cool
Water.
